What is Laser Genesis Skin Therapy? This is an innovative technology which uses laser technology to safely, discretely, and effectively restore the skin’s youthful glow and appearance. The laser light heats the upper dermis of the skin stimulating collagen re-growth and heating dilated blood vessels at the skin’s surface. This both improves the skins smoothness and decreases redness that the dilated blood vessels produce. What Conditions can Laser Genesis treat? Laser genesis has been shown to be effective for treatment of the following conditions:
Is the procedure painful? Patients describe the procedure as relaxing and therapeutic. You will experience a gentle warming of the skin during the procedure as the laser headpiece is moved back and forth about ½ inch above the skin surface. You can immediately return to normal activities, utilizing sunscreen if you will be participating in outdoor activities. What results can I expect? Aging, sun damage and scars can lead to uneven skin texture. Over the course of four to five treatments, Laser Genesis can reverse these changes and dramatically improve the overall healthy feel and appearance of your skin. You will notice a more creamy, smooth complexion as large pores are reduced in size, and minor imperfections are diminished. How many treatments will I need? Generally 4-6 treatments spaced 2-4 weeks produce optimal results. Are the other things I can do at the same time to help my skins appearance? Combining Laser Genesis with microdermabrasion which targets the skin’s outer surface often leads to even better results then laser genesis alone. In addition, the laser can also be used to specifically target blood vessels adding to the effects of the facial smoothness. Other additions to this treatment are chemical peels and topical skin products that can be purchased at the Branson Clinic Skin Spa. What are some other available treatments? Although not currently available in the Branson Skin Spa, there are multiple other available treatments for the improvement of the skin’s appearance. Some of these therapies include Botox, Fillers, radio frequency, Intense pulsed light and surgery. What are the possible side effects? Although most patients report few if any side effects, the most common is a slight redness that disappears within a few hours of treatment. In very rare cases, blistering, crusting, flaking, bruising, skin infection or scarring can occur. Again, these side effects are extremely rare with the Laser Genesis procedure. How much does Laser Genesis Cost? If small spot areas are being treated the cost is approximately $50-100/session depending on how long the laser is in use. Larger areas such as the entire face and neck are about $200 to $400 per session. Also, pricing is available with/without microdermabrasion. Pay for the first three (3) treatments, and receive the next two (2) treatments for free (for the same area and if done within one year from the first treatment). These prices are average and are subject to change without notice. The cost of your procedure will be determined at your complimentary consultation.
